The Shadows in the Dark: Part 1

I’m pretty sure most of us have had our odd experience with the paranormal at one time or another… but was your childhood home ever haunted?

Mine definitely was.

My grandparents bought the house in the 1970s, it was a tired old Victorian house that had seen better days. It had 14 rooms altogether spread across 4 floors, which I lived in with my family, extended family, and grandparents.

Now, I’m not aware of the actual history of my family home, but I know for a fact that you were never alone in that house, even if you were actually home alone.

There would be a lot of paranormal activity in the house where the most common occurrences would be the glimpses of shadow figures darting up the stairs, the apparitions of what we guessed were past owners of the house, and other poltergeist type activity.

The paranormal activity was so frequent that we’d all become used to the strange experiences in the house and would ignore them.

However, there are some encounters with the paranormal which have stuck to me to this day.
