Aka Manto is an urban legend from Japan that has existed for centuries and is still widely told today. According to the legend, Aka Manto is a male spirit, ghost, or yōkai who haunts public or school bathrooms. He is sometimes referred to as Red Cape and is described as a malicious spirit who has a history of asking his victims a series of questions before brutally murdering them.

His appearance varies depending on the version of the story that is being told, but he is typically described as a good-looking man who wears a mask and a red cape. In life, he was constantly stalked by admirers and in death he hides in the last stall of public or school toilets.

The legend of Aka Manto is most commonly associated with elementary school bathrooms, as it is said that he will ask his victims to make a choice between red or blue toilet paper. Depending on the choice they make, either a red or blue colored cape will appear and Aka Manto will drag them into the otherworld.

The legend of Aka Manto has been adapted into various forms of media, including movies, books, and video games. In some of these adaptations, Aka Manto is depicted as a serial killer rather than a ghost. In others, he is portrayed as a benevolent figure who gives out free toilet paper.

Regardless of the version of the story, Aka Manto has become a part of Japanese…
